Microsoft Windows - Level One Outline
General Course Information:
As courses can be customised to suit, condsider this
as a general guide. Face-to-face courses are offered, but not restricted to, the
Sydney metropolitan area. Other requirements will be considered on request.
Description: This
course aims to increase your skills and knowledge working with
Windows.
Learning Outcomes - on completion participants
will be able to:
- Identify the key components of your computer
- Navigate the windows desktop
- Manipulate windows to suit your needs
- Work with multiple applications
- Use Windows Explorer to locate and organise files and
folders
- Create, manipulate and delete files and folders
- Use a range of techniques to manage files effectively
- Use the Recycle Bin to manage deleted files and folders
- Print documents using the print queue
- Use Windows help
Target Audience: Designed
for participants with little or no knowledge of Windows or who
are self-taught and seeking to fill in gaps.
Prerequisites: Participants
should have basic computer skills using mouse and keyboard and
a general understanding of computers.
Methodology: A hands-on approach is taken
during this course. The exercises are designed to impart relevant
skills and knowledge by having participants work through real-life
examples and scenarios.
