Introduction to Internet Explorer
General Course Information:
As courses can be customised to suit, condsider this
as a general guide. Face-to-face courses are offered, but not restricted to, the
Sydney metropolitan area. Other requirements will be considered on request.
Description: This
course aims to introduce you to techniques and concepts associated
with using the Internet/Web.
Learning Outcomes - on
completion participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of the Internet
- Connect to the Internet
- Effectively search for information
- Create and use Favourites
- Access and utilise Internet Mail
Target Audience: Designed
for participants with little or no knowledge of using the Internet/Web, or who are
self-taught and seeking to fill in any gaps in their existing knowledge.
Prerequisites:
Participants should have basic computer skills using mouse and keyboard and an
understanding of working in the Windows environment. Connection
to internet is required.
Methodology: A hands-on
approach is taken during this course. The exercises are designed to impart
relevant skills and knowledge by having participants work through real-life
examples and scenarios.
