Illustrator - Level Two Outline
General Course Information:
As courses can be customised to suit, condsider this
as a general guide. Face-to-face courses are offered, but not restricted to, the
Sydney metropolitan area. Other requirements will be considered on request.
Description: This
course is designed for people wanting to learn more advanced drawing
and editing techniques using Illustrator.
Learning Outcomes - on
completion participants will be able to:
- Use advanced object drawing tools and dynamically
change their settings
- Use advanced path editing techniques
- Create and use gradient mesh and blends between objects
- Perform transformations to move, rotate, reflect, and shear
objects
- Modify compound paths, create compound shapes, use the
Pathfinder palette
- Convert vector images to raster and apply filters
- Use live effects, edit vector images, and use the Appearance
palette
- Create layer masks and edit clipping masks
Target Audience:
Designed for participants experienced using Illustrator, wanting
to learn new techniques for enhancing their Illustrator
drawings.
Prerequisites:
To ensure your success, we recommend you complete Illustrator Level 1 or have
equivalent experience using the program.
Methodology: A
hands-on approach is taken during this course. The exercises are
designed to impart relevant skills and knowledge through practice.
