Illustrator - Level Three Outline

General Course Information: As courses can be customised to suit, condsider this as a general guide. Face-to-face courses are offered, but not restricted to, the Sydney metropolitan area. Other requirements will be considered on request.

Description: This course is designed for people wanting to learn more advanced drawing and editing techniques working with different graphic formats.

Learning Outcomes - on completion participants will be able to:

• Import/export different graphics formats
• Create, edit, and apply tiled patterns & special brushes/li>
• Adjust artboard and reset angle for perspective drawing
• Import and format text with advanced type editing
• Match colours between Illustrator and other applications using colour management
• Perform trapping to prevent gaps in printing
• Prepare colour separation print and apply printer's marks

Target Audience: Designed for participants experienced using Illustrator wanting to learn more techniques to control their Illustrator output.

Prerequisites: To ensure your success we recommend you complete Illustrator Level 1 & 2, or have equivalent experience using the program.

Methodology: A hands-on approach is taken during this course. The exercises are designed to impart relevant skills and knowledge through practice.
