Acrobat - Level One Outline
General Course Information:
As courses can be customised to suit, condsider this
as a general guide. Face-to-face courses are offered, but not restricted to, the
Sydney metropolitan area. Other requirements will be considered on request.
Description: This
course is an introduction to Acrobat for students who would like
to learn to create and manipulate Portable Document Format (PDF)
files.
Learning Outcomes - on
completion participants will be able to:
- Create a PDF file from various media
- Modify PDF files by adding hyperlinks, bookmarks, movie and
sound clips
- Add graphic and text annotations
- Create a Web Ready PDF form
- Index a collection of PDF files
- Optimize and distribute PDF files
Target Audience:
Designed for participants with little or no knowledge of Acrobat
who want to convert documents into Acrobat PDF formats.
Prerequisites:
Participants should have basic computer skills and be proficient
using mouse, keyboard, windows and desktop applications.
Methodology: A
hands-on approach is taken during this course. The exercises are
designed to impart relevant skills and knowledge through practice.
